Keyword Research
One of the most important lessons to learn when learning how to be an affiliate marketer is how to do keyword research. Keyword research is researching what words and phrases people type in when they are searching for your topic. Then you need to research which phrases you can compete with to get the traffic that you are looking for.
Once you learn how to mechanically put together a lens on Squidoo, or an article on any other site, after writing maybe one or two of them, there is no reason why you should write another until you know how to do keyword research.
Now I could explain to you how to do this myself, but instead, I am going to refer you to the best explanation that I have read recently, How to Research Keywords. This is written by AJ who does a superb job of explaining a very difficult and confusing subject. This is a step by step explanation that takes you through her research on one particular subject, and is a page that should be bookmarked until you understand the process of researching keywords by heart.
So what are you waiting for? Get on over there and read the lens.
